gift/part of teaching?

1 Corinthians 12

7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. ... 27 All of you together are Christ's body, and each of you is a part of it. 28 Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church:

   first are apostles,
   second are prophets,
   third are teachers,
   then those who do miracles,
those who have the gift of healing,
   those who can help others,
those who have the gift of leadership,
those who speak in unknown languages.

Is there a difference between a spiritual gift (v. 7) and a spiritual body part (v. 27-28)?  According to Strong's, the Greek word in v. 7 could be translated as manifestation/expression/bestowment, and the Greek word in v. 27 is member/limb/part.  Interesting.

I think the Spirit has given me a desire and gifting to teach.  So, how should I serve?

Heavenly Father, please help me see how you want to use me to serve the Body of Christ.  Lord, please guide me and use me to help build up the Body.  I love you, and I need you.  Thank you for your kindness to me. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
