2 Chronicles 34:21 ESV
"Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the Lord that is poured out on us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord, to do according to all that is written in this book."
Josiah found the Book of the Law, and he took it as the normative standard for living. What would my life look like if I lived by the Book? Jesus. Fruit of the Spirit.
Heavenly Father, please deliver me from the flesh. It is so easy to want to focus on pleasure and recognition. Lord, may I be pure and useful to you, and may I obey your teaching. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
