we still must preach the Gospel

Romans 1:18-32

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

It might be tempting to read those verses and think that we don't have an obligation to preach the Gospel and make disciples, but the preceding two verses are essential:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Heavenly Father, you are glorious, and it is true that you have shown yourself through your creation.  But Lord, please help me use your creation as a platform for the Gospel.  Please help me preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ faithfully so that others will experience your forgiveness and love.  I love you, Lord, and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
