Esther 3-5

The Lord is mysteriously in control.  It often seems like we can't see Him, but He is near, and He is in control.  The Lord is constantly using us by His grace and our faith to accomplish His will.  Mordecai was a man of integrity, and He trusted that the Lord would protect the Jews.  He was also pragmatic, challenging Esther to be a vessel of God's deliverance.

The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy.  Every person on earth has been separated from God by sin.  But by faith in Christ, we can be restored to enjoying a close relationship with our Heavenly Father, and we can be used by Christ and the Holy Spirit to lead others to find peace with God and enjoy Him forever.

Heavenly Father, I praise you because you are always in control.  Lord, please grow my faith, and use me to help others experience your grace and mercy.  I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
