Mark 14, Romans 14
The life in Christ is fundamentally spiritual. It is a life of spiritual devotion to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit:
M 14:38 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
R 14:9For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. ... 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. ... 23... For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.
Heavenly Father, help me walk by faith in Jesus Christ today, by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that the Kingdom of God may advance. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
