confirmation

Genesis 28-29, Matthew 8:18-34

God revealed his covenant to Abraham in Genesis 12 and confirmed it in Genesis 15.  What I love is that the Lord appeared to Isaac and confirmed His covenant in Genesis 26, and He appeared to Jacob and confirmed it again in Genesis 28.

I want to see the Lord!  I want to see Him and know Him!  I want to know His will and obey Him. 

Heavenly Father, may your will be done.  You are kind and gracious to reveal yourself and make promises to us.  Lord, I want to know you and your promises.  Please draw me close to you, Lord.  I ask in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
