Watching for Jesus's return

Matthew 24-25

No one knows the day or hour, but Jesus repeatedly stressed, through multiple parables, that we are to be diligent in watching for His return.

^25:13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

^{Mark 13:36} Don't let him find you sleeping when he arrives without warning. ³⁷ I say to you what I say to everyone: Watch for him!"

I want to live each day anticipating Christ's return.  I can't get distracted with the things of this world.

Heavenly Father, please help me stay focused on you and keeping in step with the Spirit.  Lord, please keep me sober-minded.  I love you, and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
