Jesus Teacher

Nicodemus thought he was complimenting Jesus when he told Him that they knew He was a good teacher by the miracles He performed.  Jesus responded by saying, "You must be born again."  Basically, Jesus threw a rock in Nicodemus's spiritual pond by implying, "That's not good enough.  I am more than just a good teacher - I AM THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF GOD!"

2 Peter 3:9, 15 - The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. ... 15 And remember, the Lord's patience gives people time to be saved.

1 John 1:5-9
5 This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. 6 So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. 7 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

Grace and forgiveness come through FAITH in Christ as Messiah and LORD!

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for showing me that Jesus is the Messiah who takes away the sin of the world.  Thank you for forgiving me and changing me.  Please continue to cleanse me from all wickedness, that I would look like Christ Jesus.  Thank you for your patience with mankind; please use me to boldly proclaim the Good News of forgiveness and life through faith in Jesus Christ.
