It's out of order, I know, but I think verses 8-9 in Psalm 36 explain verses 5-7:
8 You feed them from the abundance of your own house,
letting them drink from your river of delights.
9 For you are the fountain of life,
the light by which we see.
5 Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
6 Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.
7 How precious is your unfailing love, O God! ...
As I read Proverbs 5:18-19, I am reminded to consider how the Lord has blessed me with such a wonderful wife. She is the wife of my youth, she is a graceful doe, a loving deer. I am captivated by her love. Over the last couple of days, we have talked about our love and trust in the Lord, and my fellowship with her is so encouraging and strengthening.letting them drink from your river of delights.
9 For you are the fountain of life,
the light by which we see.
5 Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
6 Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.
7 How precious is your unfailing love, O God! ...
Prayer
Heavenly Father, you are so good, and your love endures forever. Your character is infinite! Your righteousness and justice are perfect, and yet, at the same time, you are full of mercy and grace! Lord God, may I be used to improve your reputation among the nations! May the whole earth know and experience your wonderful kindness. I praise you, Lord, and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
